I don't know why circumcision is basically required here. Everyone will laugh and be disgusted at you if they find out you're not circumcised. Boys usually get circumcised in their pre-teens. The ones in the city usually get free circumcision during summer at the local clinic. The ones in the country get chopped by the local quack/witch doctor.
