I don't usually care for politics in art as it's most often unnecessary with its constant shoehorning and implicit or even explicit messages. I think it ruins it for me when there is a clear political bias within a work of art. The more ambiguous the position of the artist, the better (if political themes are dealt with). But don't go down the route of excessive irony and meaninglessness. I don't really call myself an artist yet. I'm not sure when the title is earned. Not really in any art communities other than dead ones on discord full of anime asians - the things irl are nonfunctioning due to corona.
