This is partly why Israel's claims to that part of the world are so ridiculous. Who could reasonably argue that a Jew whose family lived for decades in a suburb of New Jersey has a greater claim to a patch of land 12,000 miles away that's inhabited by someone whose family has been there continuously since Julius Caesar was in power?
