I've been thinking about how beneficial having a second citizenship is in the world today. I travel a lot and there are many instances where I'd rather be presenting something other than a British passport, but I have no other choice. So, here's a thought experiment.
How would you go about acquiring a second passport in the quickest way possible, given the following conditions:
1. You come from a first world country and speak English, and have at least a grasp of a few other languages.
2. You are not eligible to claim a citizenship through means such as heritage.
3. Naturalization is an option but bear in mind most take several years and require jumping through many hoops, so are probably beyond the scope of this experiment.
4. You are financially stable but you do not have the kind of money required to buy a citizenship directly.
As an additional point of discussion, is there any value in fake passports? Assuming that acquiring a high quality one is perfectly viable what are the cons?
Pic unrelated.
