if the china deal is for real then it's very big news. the wars in ukraine, africa, middle east, now the subcontinent, are all linked to our conflict with china. if tensions could be brought down then perhaps those conflicts can end as well, and no new ones need start or existing ones escalate. question for us is when the deal is made public what tptb are gonna think. despite the rhetoric from trump, he's seen by the establishment as the china dove, and their biggest worry is that he would concede taiwan to beijing, something that would make them very very upset. what we want to see is an agreement that makes both parties happy, brussels and beijing, washington does have an interest in rolling over to china, we don't want to fight the war for taiwan and we're the biggest profiteers off the china trade, we want a deal more than anyone. so yeah, let's see the grade the establishment gives this before hailing it, an american deal with china is the easy part, getting tptb stamp of approval is the big difficulty here.
