I don't get why people pretend the pre-2000s was some endless back-to-back of quality anime when the ratio of good to bad is almost the exact same. It just seems worse because the quantity of anime's gone up a ton and the money in the industry's stretched across 50+ anime per season.
Post-2015 anime's been boring with exceptions, but the same can be said about the early 90s and majority of 80s TV anime.
