6 - 55 gallon drums treated water. 2 more empty, ready to fill.
1 tote with 25 lbs black pepper, 25 lbs salt, 20lbs sugar, 3 more 5 lb containers of other spices
4 - 5 gallon buckets beans and rice about 100lbs total. gamma seal lids, food grade plastic.
4 totes of freeze dried stuff hanging out under the water barrels on 2 x 8's and cinder blocks. Supposed to last 1 person a year but it doesn't have a hell of a lot of calories. Never goes bad though.
Then every time I go shopping I buy an extra 20/30 dollars worth of canned goods. I routinely eat cans 3/4 years past their best by date- no issues. Most food in cans good indefinitely even if a lot of flavor is lost/doesn't look as good.
There's also a tote with 30 N95 respirators, 6 pairs goggles, 6 tyvek suits/gloves and duct tape from 2014 ebola scare.
Been doing this 8 years, best advice is just start and don't stop even if this time ends up being another close call. One day it will be the real deal.
