If I could turn back time, I would never buy a singular guinea pig. No matter how much attention you will give, it will never be the same as living in pairs. He had many ocassions to meet some other guinea pig, few times even had to take care of both because their owner was on vacations for a week or two.
Needless to say, after mine grew up, their hormones really kicked in and it would be hard to say that they tolerated each other all that much..
He was a nice fella that could've had a better life.
