>>1755465The job market is extremely stratified and almost nonexistent in many places where entry level positions require years of previous experience and a degree to start at minimum wage. Our infrastructure is dogshit and we rely entirely on imports instead of local jobs. Large businesses are making more money but it only affects the upper management as wages for workers doesn't increase and often people are laid off to minimize costs further and have less people do more work.
That's not even touching the shitfest that is STEM. There's no funding and private sectors aren't hiring new people unless they are in CS or have been working in the industry for the past decade.
So yes, I am saying the US economy is broken.
