A mother knows if her son is a girl at heart. If he talks like a girl, acts like a girl and socialises only with girls. If he's weak, sensitive and prefers girly activities. He is a girl to his mother even before he comes out as trans. At least subconsciously. A mother must feel great joy when she notices that her son has female behaviour as it's easier for a mother to raise a girl. She can relate to him.
Some boys aren't meant to grow up to be men. Some aren't cut out to be. Transitioning might not be the correct method of treating the disorder as most don't pass but it's not right to suppress their feminine behaviour. Boys should be free to be femme if they have dysphoria.
