>>11827818TV license is literally a powerless thing. They have to actively record you watching a BBC program to even risk taking you to court now because you can counter claim for the time and stress, costing them thousands since they still need to hire a solicitor that you can cuck by playing dumb. They tried it on my brother once, who was watching Dr Who on his DVD set and he ended up going to court over it after telling them to go fuck a nigger. When he was in court, he took in the DVDs as evidence that he doesn't require a license to consume the product and that any BBC product he consumed was by DVD, by evidence he didn't even have an aerial on his property nor did he have cable television.
He then claimed the time lost over the court case was due to a lack of willingness to accept the explanation in the first place and the time he spent arguing the case with the BBC was actually an economic detriment to himself and that he demanded reparations for them dragging him through the court when he clearly had evidence that he had BBC DVDs but no TV signal to watch BBC stuff otherwise.
Got about £6k for a 2 hour court day and now he watches shit on the BBC channels anyway because they won't bother him anymore.
