to be fair, I should have probably stopped starting arguments with them about the pandemic months ago, but they're one of those people who thinks "if we had locked everything down harder and everyone listened to the gubmint the virus would have disappeared like china / new zealand etc." and it drives me crazy
they accuse me of not understanding the science because I think this whole thing is a psyop and rarely wear a mask but when I tell them there's no conclusive evidence of asymptomatic spread, ICUs are always overwhelmed this time of year, the IFR is 0.23% etc. they go full npc face
