The point isn't that all pitbulls will kill children, but that pitbulls and labradors *are* behaviorally different - and expecting them to behave the same way leads to problems (sometimes like dead children) for everyone.
Still, this is one of those moments when online shorthand seems to have led to personal upset, and I'm sorry you felt hurt. I'm glad you and your grandmother have been so good to animals for so long. Thank you for caring for them so much.
