I had a downsie neighbour my age that grew up with me. She was happy go lucky, always smiling. Good family. Treated well. Puberty hit and she got a job in Walmart. She had a breakthrough realization that she was different when guys were dating girls but not her. She was about 17 and realized she was undesirable and ugly and nobody could convince her otherwise.
