I would sit down with him, talk bull shit and drink some, i would just look at him taking shot after shot of vodka while serenating them with cans of 211 or other high malt beer.
One time he bought about 70 dollars worth of pastrami i ended up eating it all, i went to his house almost a week straight just to eat it because i thought it was going to be such a fucking waste to throw the shit away and i told him i was going to eat it and not let it throw it away
He just nodded and say sure while downing another bottle of Tito's.
Last time i saw him i bought him a couple of smokes, he was broke as fuck and told me he was off the buzz, he didn't want to go look for a job tho so he was picking cans to buy beer.
That was 2 years ago, i wish him well he was a good man
