The dish I post earlier, is actually microwaved, the pasta was boiled first, the red kidney beans soaked in water for over 8 hours, but then both are microwaved with raw bacon -- the bacon fat actually fries it in the microwave. Did the same here, raw bacon microwaved with raw potatoes in the microwave (it was a hot summer) within a corningware, seasoned with powdered sage and onion.
