Look, I don't know what worldview you subscribe to, but an actual great woman that most men dream of is composed, gentle, loving, and obedient. A man wants to raise a family with a woman that will be there to take care of him and the home, his children, and himself when he cannot do so himself, and he wants her to be kind and gentle when he faces difficulties in the harshness in the world. Many men also prefer women to have a spine and thoughts of their own, but they are by no means emblematic of the ideal woman.
In the same sense that an ideal man is strong, capable, upright, brave, and worldly, an ideal woman is beautiful, soothing, docile, and lovely. Men are boulders, and women are flowers. This is our nature. You don't have to fall into it but you do have to recognize what our basest desires entail, and what most of us want.
