i cringe every time i try to read a book here thats written in the past few decades. nowhere in slovenia do people speak proper slovenian. the closest you can get to it is ljubljana, but they have some faggy accent to it that is difficult to imagine. I could never imagine a concersation going down how its written, but at the same time its not like the writers/translators can really do anything about it, so its a problem that will stay with the slovenian language until the standardized version becomes what everyone uses. unfortunately it feels like this isnt that far away.
