I was notable as being businesslike all the time, liking training, and just doing my job, but doing it as well as I'd been trained to do, but having knowledge beyond my formal military training. Also a bit for distinctly not wanting to go out and pick up chicks (but not because IM GAY but because I just said no to doing that, but more because every night was a work night rather than just because I don't want the D or P)
All that as opposed to the women aboard, who were mostly notable for either the same thing I was (i.e. being good workers), or for being massive whores you'd never trust with anything ever, with zero inbetween, and that being independent of how attractive they were.
I don't know how many gay dudes there are that just want to get down to literal actual business for that cash money and genuine productivity but I can't be alone in this
