>>12943574yeah what i appreciate most about the doctors is they come in with the mindset of collaborative effort which is pretty rare in the US. they have you describe all your symptoms, concerns, etc, then let you know what they're thinking it could be and why as well as what they're fairly confident it shouldn't be and why not. from there they want to hear what you think sounds most sensible then they'll explain what avenues are available to go about properly diagnosing and treating the problem.
this is all in stark contrast to many doctors who will go "tell me what's wrong. sounds like it's probably your gallbladder, we'll get a scan ordered then go from there. here's some pain medication in the meantime." then roll their eyes if you ask for explanation or question their conclusion at all
