anyway i fixed the 3 fps issue by adjusting one of the sliders by like 2 millimeters
apparently that makes the difference between the game being playable and not so thats cool
remember when i said that thing about anomaly having great optimization you know maybe not
but whatever im not gonna act like im not on a dying ten year old laptop that might explode as i am writing this post
so i guess im taking things for granted its a miracle i can even run this shit
anyway a couple more things
unfortunately i only get to play on vanilla anomaly
cause gamma is so much of a hassle to keep updating
i had a properly installed version of it that i couldve been playing on but i have no idea what me from a couple months ago did, it just stopped launching
which is no matter honestly
gamma isnt very fun imo, not cause of a lot of things but pretty much solely cause of groks shitty ballistic mod
god i fucking hate that shit
its really fun headshotting people 90 times without them dying and constantly having literally invincible npcs running around cause the script fucked up somehow
its also how bloaty it is, i remember one playthrough ive had of it i had to abandon because after like 10 or so hours the game starts being very heavy, like whenever you opened ur backpack it stuttered for like 6 seconds straight, and pretty much every action did that too
i guess it could be okay for a shorter ironman run but for actually playing through the game idk gamma just didnt really do it for me. that can be attributed to my shitty pc, beyond that problem i recall i was actually enjoying it
cause it wasnt really that different from my own 200 addons that i bunched up together lol
its missing a bunch of good stuff also i think
