and yet if you talk to a surprisingly large number of people they'll start fanboying about how they #omgliterallycryingrn when [insert irrelevant nameless character] died (and then they #omgliterallycryingrn again when said character was inevitably resurrected) or how emet-selch is the greatest villain ever written and it's like you're talking to a toddler. or an alien who's never heard of 'stories' before so everything is new to them. i don't understand how these people can actually exist.
all of this is another reason why i can't play xiv anymore. duty finder is tolerable but any amount of interaction with this game's godawful community beyond that is too much. i'm sure it's a lot better if you find a good FC but i don't have the energy to sort through the garbage of current year MMO communities lole
