Hiring a half naked loli companion and sending her back with a Hoe(the tool) is an integral part of DD. If that isn't present it'll just be sad. I'm not worried about it being good or not though. DD is pretty much a passion project of Hideaki Itsuno which reuses assets from his DMC games and other Capcom games like Monster hunter. I doubt he'd put out anything next but a game that he's proud of. Also the fact he's Japanese contributes to that assessment.
