What's the longest someone has been dead for, and then brought back?? DMT trips are very short, although they distort your perception of time and can feel like an eternity. Your brain releases much more than you would do on a normal dose though when you are dying.
I'd spend some time on hospice nurse forums. There was a thread I found on one where they were all talking about a whooshing feeling someone died, and many atheists seeing angels as they died, or even weeks before they passed....
