the article did a really bad job of explaining heechul's stance as far as i can tell. that's unironically one of the reasons i'd like to be fluent in korean, so i don't have to rely on people's shitty interpretations of people's words
the version i saw a long time ago was basically that if he casually says he's not gay then nobody will believe him but if he makes a big deal vehemently saying he's not gay then it comes across as implying it would be a bad thing
