We used to worship idols of gods now we worship logos of brands. Traditions and values of religion or ancestral animism has turned into sociopolitical ideas fitting the framework of post industrial capitalistic global society. In a tribe we would go through different rituald signalling out growth as a human now humans have the rituals of growth as education. The difference is these traditions and values the tribes and smaller societies had was it benifitted the individual more. Today a huge portion of resources goes to the few very rich. People still somehow come up with excuses for it. Humans are just replacable cogs in a machine now. Im gonna go sleep
