South Park did this too, but it wasn't this next level of nihilism stacked upon each other like what is done with Rick and Morty. South Park was exclusively satire against the entire world, it wasn't straight up telling its viewers life is meaningless over and over again.
It wouldn't surprise me if redditors regularly kill themselves over this show.
