by the time i moved out and lived myself, we had moved 23 times in 25 years. they had no clue how to deal with me and everything they did only ever made it worse, not for lack of care or trying, the fact i never became gay or some other horrible game over fate is almost soley because iv been on /pol/ since i was 12.
they clearly hate each other and their relationship fell apart around 2009 or 2010 but they stayed together for the sake of me and my sister, now they are both in their 50s and theres no point to divorce, so they just live in opposite ends of their gigantic house.
dad has always had PTSD and some other mental problems that i was never really clued into, but i dont think anyone else was that much either because he is a borderline emotional schizo that is very good at hiding it, and is a very difficult person to try and wrap your head around, i think he *wishes* he was a basedboy and pretends to be so by acting like a man baby , but hell often flip a switch and become 200% hyper competent and smart. i dont understand him, sometimes he flips between childishly selfish, emotional and totally cold and uncaring, and thats why he has no friends and nobody wants to deal with him because they dont know how to deal with it
