>>15280287>hold a bit of wonder for if you'll just run into the exact kind of person that you want to meet. This isn't a romantic comedy, anon. Just stumbling into people that have the same interests as you is good enough.
>Yeah, we played the original the most, but, we did play a bit of ShockwaveI prefer Rise of the Reds, but i didn't get to play it with friends like you did. Sounds like a whale of a time.
>I wish there was a more arcadey version of it that's easier to get into and mess around in.Cold Waters is arcadey, but it's with modern subs. Casualization is heresy for those types of games anyways.
>Really a shame how they made a game with so much content and all but have it all locked behind stupid paywall stuff. Not to sound like a Cuckgaming shill, but it really isn't that bad. Once you start PVP, the grind is very laid back and fast. Never spent a dime and i can get whatever bote line i want. Maybe all you need is someone to play with.
>I guess the same could be said for War Thunder, speaking of, have you tried? I played a fair bit of boats in that game, but, the progression is just so unbearable that you have to stop.Did try it back in the day, fucking hated the grind. Never touched it since. Shame, since it's a cool milsim on paper.
> But at the same time it's just a bit creepy for me being all alone in that game, with that environment.Bullshit, same here. I once had a nightmare where the theme of United was playing in the background when i was a wee lad. A bit weird, but hearing the theme after all these years brings a weird sense of homelyness now. My favourite was the original Trackmania, proto-Canyon you could say. Sunrise was a close second of course. Rad shit.
>Is there anything particularly cool for it, or do you just play with extra cars added? Any thoughts on the other games?New cars, slightly better visuals, far more races. Playing Carbon with the Battle Royale mod is necessary these days. I like all NFS games tbqh, even nu-MW
