>>19051176Then she reads out the ultimatum Andi's father laid out. An apartment and a stable job, in exchange for quitting wrestling and living a quiet and ordinary life. She slowly hands the letter back to Andi, something close to anger welling up inside of her. Quiet and ordinary? Andi is anything but, and that's not a bad thing. Why couldn't her father see that? Why couldn't he accept her for who she is and watch her soar? The idea of Andi's own family having this attitude toward her was one Robyn didn't like.
But then she has another thought. What if Andi... takes the offer? Surely she wouldn't, right? A free spirit like her would be miserable trying to stick to her dad's restrictive rules. But family is a powerful thing. If it could save her relationship with her father, Andi just might be willing to take the offer, and leave. Leave the WWA. Leave Robyn. A lump burns in her throat. She couldn't imagine losing Andi. But it might be about to happen. And she'd be selfish to try to stand in her way.
Robyn tries to keep her voice steady as she speaks. "Whatever you decide to do, I will support you. Ok?"
