>>21056589Just get mint, it works out of the box, has plenty of community support online, and little things here or these you can pick up along the way. I'm slowly making the switch over on my desktop, just saving windows for games that won't work on linux.
If you want to try it out first you can make a bootable thumb drive, and boot from that.
