The realization that she was spending a holiday with a group of strangers in a house that smelled like spoiled milk and rotting fish instead of with her family must've hit her hard. She got emotional during the Vegas trip when talking about wanting to spend Christmas with her aunt. She tried to pass it off by saying her legs hurt and she could barely walk, and got upset because she didn't want Sam to yell at her for not keeping up with the group. Which if you seen her during the show, she clearly doesn't care when Sam gets pissed at her.
