on topic, here's mine under development. i'm in no hurry, basically waiting until fall to plant something (vegas). the problem is that the area was covered with old roof debris (Almost tilled into the soil, took a while to vacuum/pick out), some poured concrete debris, rocks, etc...got it almost clean, a few rocks and concrete chunks to pick out once it gets cooler. PLanning on just getting some compost shortly and letting it cook over summer. might try growing alfalfa to get it started since that works well for desert soils.
