Most "communists" in Western countries are just people with liberal arts degrees who wanna feel like they're having an impact on the world by talking about rebelling against the big guy without actually doing much besides making strong-worded tweets and blog posts. What most of them actually read is just regular Frankfurt School-type critical theory shit. There's a reason why "communists" in Western countries are mockingly referred to in China as bai zuo (the white left).
