Come on, you're only twenty, there's still time to figure things out. I don't have any friends either, hell I had more friends during high-school when I was an awkward kid who might as well have been mute for all the words I've said during all those years. I don't think you can make many friends at this age. Everybody has their own cliques. You can make acquaintances, sure, but those aren't exactly close-knit friendships. I think most people are starting to make their own families at this age.
You haven't failed yet. Ask your teachers if you can take those exams during the autumn session. You'd have plenty of time to study by then.
Choose the internship path then.
