>>9431980Eh. I agree and have felt exactly the same as you in the past but after spending the last many years dedicated to developing my consciousness through all kinds of practices which I took pretty seriously and put an absolute mountain of work into, I'm kind of burnt out / fed up with this whole paradigm.
Yes I believe our potential is vastly greater than we can even comprehend in our present state, but considering the amount of effort I've put in and the relative amount of change I've observed as a result, it seems it's pretty well locked down and basically impossible to access that potential. You see a great enlightenment, I see a bunch of people stumbling down paths I have already walked and already know are dead ends. It's good that more people are becoming aware of esoteric and off-limits topics, but if there are artificial barriers put in place to prevent our being able to actually advance to a higher state, even if we understand that in theory we should be able to achieve these states, is that really even a sign of progress?
All it would take to crash the whole thing would be one man reaching his actual potential. The fact that we're still in this state means that has never happened. Not once ever. I would like to be hopeful but at this point it's hard. The whole ascension culture is an endless merry-go-round through a bunch of endlessly re-hashed ideas that are good, and IMO true, but ultimately can't be put into practice because we're in some kind of energetic/consciousness prison that keeps us from becoming anything more than smart monkeys.
