You send yourself to hell if you're evil because your spirit is naturally drawn to other spirits that share your primary love. So if you're a jew who loves swindling people for personal gain, the community you wind up in is full of people like that and they'll take advantage of you. If you enjoy torturing people, you're going to find yourself in one of the the worst spiritual neighborhoods ever. You'll feel like you're in hell.
If you find joy in caring for people and teaching people, you're going to wind up surrounded by wise and caring angels who will make you feel like you're in heaven. The kingdom of heaven is within you, so build your internal man as Jesus teaches.
