We don't have a long tradition of chicken here though. Norwegian chickens were so shitty we exterminated the entire population last century and replaced them with a different breed.
We use plenty of salt, pepper and herbs though, but only to taste. Not obscene amounts of taste bud incinerating "spices" to cover up rancid meat.
