>>2558648Well, seeing as we both belong to the school of deconstructionism,” I wrote, as the rain outside grew heavier, softly tapping on the windowsill as it turned into the birth of a million small waterfalls and rivers. They were crashing down from the top of these giant dark constructions that form a city, an obscure place where we attempt to thrive.
“We attempted to deduce and locate any potential benefits of an individual subscription to nihilism. Nihilism states that essentially the entire selection of issues related to morals and norms all tend to circulate around each other, they are fluctuating by nature. Progressive ideologies and concepts could, therefore, be viewed as essentially without any static or permanent value.”
“Okay, so, is this what you want to talk about; because nothing means anything because nothing has an inherent value?”
“In a way.” I began, slowly structuring the sentences I wanted to write down in my head, as to not confuse either Akira or myself with this pretentious and complicated topic.
“Something happened, just now.” I typed out.
“I just wanted to set the mood first, because it’s hard for me to explain it correctly using just one simple sentence or by just giving a superficial recount of the event. It had an enormous impact on me.”
“Really?” Akira wrote, and I could picture his frown as he was typing.
I began, gradually, typing out what had just transpired moments before I sat down in front of my computer and started to reach out to my friend and reassure myself that I hadn’t completely lost it.
“So, I decided, by mere coincidence to go out for a couple of beers with some of my friends, you know, Daisuke, Sasuke, Rui and some of my colleagues from the university. We ended up going to different bars, and before I knew it I’d lost them all and I started wandering the streets alone, buzzed but not lost completely to the booze.”
“Are you still drunk?”
