Holy fucking shit, this is what I'm talking about when I say the older internet days were better. People weren't frantically trying to be popular with a shitty joke/image. Inside jokes just sort of happened naturally inside each circle. But fuck now everyone is shit posting everywhere hoping to be the next big meme. God I hate when people use he word meme. I just call them images, that's all they are.
Granted, people still tried to spam before (YouTube is a good example) but we had less shit posting and click bait and so on. "Meme culture" is a ducking fad that won't die.
Can't wait in 10 years for someone to say "meme culture" appropriation is wrong or some shit.
