wtf... was this actually in the MV?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQVndlzmhHY>>13108484lol, well in naive first time travellers' defense, they probably couldn't fathom that such scumbag places as tourist traps exist. and even then, you can't be sure you'll identify them successfully.
yeah i think you're kind of right about that. all the fast food i tried there in multiple places like borgir and fries and pizza tasted the same that it does here maybe slightly more intense and delicious. and the fresh produce you had was worse than what we have here. while beef steak was better over there. but that's pretty much it. junkfood from the store like cookies and chips and chocolate bars was also the same. but overall it wasn't much of a difference.
so food generally doesn't taste much different, no, but the real experience comes when trying local recipes which use ingredient combinations that don't exist at home, which is why i think it's so pathetic to stick with what you know. like i ate a reuben sandwich there and you really can't get that in bulgaria even though we have all the ingredients so i consider that a novelty experience. also reese's peanut butter whatevers were really good and we don't have those here. and i also ate some korean shit, bulgogi and something else i forgot the name of.
