This anime is barely shoujo ai, There is only about one legit lesbian relationship and it happened in the past, there were also 2 other potential relationships but they were both one sided, with one girl feeling thirsty and another girl not liking her. Other than the yuri the is super depressing It deals with a lot of difficult topics like bullying and suicide. It is also very soap operaey as there are shit loads of mysteries and most episodes end with some sort of secret getting discovered. One of the characters is very sick and another one of them is a drug addict. Many of the characters are huge bitches to eachother (especially at the start) and it is to the point where it can make you actually hate the characters. They don't stay that way though, and one of the best parts about the anime is seeing how the bad characters change to become less terrible throughout the series. The protagonist, Is a very kind person who isn't fucked up at all, She is kind of like a mary sue, but it isn't really that bad. She isn't omnipotent, and many times she doesn't get her way so her 'mary sueness' isn't that bad but it is definitely further on the spectrum than I think would be necessary. Her naivety also helps further the plot as she doesn't know very much about her high school so they can info dump parts of the story through other characters. Overall I would give this anime an 8/10 It is really good but as a lesbian story I would give it a 2/10 because there is very little yuri elements in it. It is 39 episodes long so it is quite a watch.
