Actually come up with a plan to integrate immigrants and make them productive and useful members of society. The way I see it, these people are like human contraband. Drugs, alcohol, whatever. You can try to ban them, but it won't stop them coming in. The push factors are too hard and the pull factors are too tempting. All you can do is legislate and deal with them.
Bring back unions.
Tax corporations based on what country the revenue was generated in, not based on whatever tax haven the corporation is registered in. Want to do business in my country? Fuck you, pay me.
