>>13888498>It was about expansive franchises, I think. yeah, but i don't remember where i was planning to go with the whole capeshit thing.
>What do you mean by that?I hit my math wall in calc 2, and C++ was an absolute travesty of me begging flanchan to help me out with my programs towards the end of the semester. When I think back on my old chem engineering degree, I realize I didn't enjoy it one bit. Changed majors and now things are much nicer.
>having to be part of a culture and having to put up a facade at all times, it's tiresomegood lord yes, that part is easily the absolute worst. every company tries to foster this culture as if it won't just make things worse for the employees who just wanna show up, do their job, then leave.
The worst is when they expect you to show up to company gatherings or get togethers outside of work. No thanks.
>The problem with the countryside is that there's not much to do therei think that's only an issue if you're the kind of person to actively look for things to do. it may sound drab, but sometimes it's nice to not have many options around you. less to think about and plan can be a good thing if you're overwhelmed with other things.
still, if life is easy going and you wanna do something, then yeah i can see it being a total snore.
>your approach probably gives you more peace of mind.it's a temporary means to an end, really. as i said before, less to think about can be a good thing in certain circumstances. eventually it'll come up again, and i'm not sure if i'll have a meaningful answer.
>Interesting, so you think faith is as important as the other four?i do not, i haven't been religious for years now. i'm speaking purely from a functionalist perspective, which has its own flaws and intricacies. again though, i've only ever taken 1 course on the matter so i shouldn't try to do a deep dive.
