Be very careful about the bots you add to your groups. I have experience using the telegram api and botfather, along with writing custom code for various things. If there is a bot in your room, get rid of it. There is nothing you need it for. As the owner of several, trust me when I say that if my bot is in your channel, I can record everything everyone says and a lot of other stuff. It's a good platform, but not perfect. Just avoid using bots.
