>>851699You should be more worried about comets and asteroids. A couple of degrees hotter over the next 100 years? That's nothing compared to a huge asteroid hitting Earth. We wouldn't be able to grow most of our food for a year or two due to the atmosphere being darkened from dirt upshot from the impact. Not to mention all the immediate deaths if the asteroid hits a highly populated area like NYC or Moscow.
All this climate change money would be better spent building an international asteroid detection program and building the tools/vehicles/weapons needed to divert/destroy any large objects headed our way.
