It then went straight up and appeared to become a star in the dusk sky. The only way to explain such movement from a known physics perspective is that these "things" are some kind of hologram or projection (or other light trick). If you shine a light on a wall, you can fool a cat into thinking it's an object moving at incredible speeds.
