>>10851152In fact, there is christian meaning to the show. In episode 24 titled "the beginning and the end" (clearly christian influence on that name as well) this scene where that boy is talking to the crucified angel named adam. He asks, "Adam, that from which we came. Must one who is born from Adam return to Adam, even though it will destroy man?"
Literally a very christian question to pose and one with occult meaning behind it no less. One of dire consequence. You probably can't see it because you actually haven't studied the stuff but it most certainly is a very christian question to pose. Not only that, it relates to christianity's idea of becoming one with god. Hell the three big in christianity are one and the entire purpose of the religion's story is about bringing man, as one, back to (((god))). The end of the book is literally one full of metaphor talking about the end of the world. The question posed in eva on episode 24 by that homo literally references all of this. For if the world were to end, so would mankind and therefore would be reunited with the source. It's not a good thing though in all actuality, but the fact that occult connection is there shows this show is most certainly a christian working. I'd argue it's more Jewish than that since without Judaism, you wouldn't have Christianity.
Then for no reason at all, he brings up Lilith. No even Gundam does shit like this.
