My point is some people will make fortunes from emerging markets. And of course many will lose their shirts. That's the way high-risk investing goes.
You're reading more into my comments than is there, assuming I'm talking about my own investment strategy. I got out of investing earlier this year and now just focus on owning cash and precious metals.
My interest in Ukraine is a job there. I tried to find employment in Russia but companies there would barely talk to me, seeming to be suspicious of a Westerner/American. So I may go to Ukraine.
