"Socialising" is a bunch of bottom of the barrel scum, tryig to find some leverage for later corporate careers, since they know they're too shit to stand out with their wits or persevierence. And that literally evaporates once you leave your government mandated education hole. If you haven't "made it" by having a wealthy or influential connection all that "socialising" was down the toilet.
All that matters is raw strength be it monetary or physical. Being "social" is contorting your weak self around that strength trying to leach an easy existence off of it.
Other than that, having a normal bland conversation with someone, or if the situatiion arises, even happy chatter is not a big deal. It's there to ease awkward situations and you'll all master it simply by being bumped around.
No magical super secret gain from that though.
